Samford Rangers Football Club

Samford Rangers Football Club is a community focused football club that has been operating in the beautiful Samford Valley since 1973.

In 2021 Samford Rangers FC had more than 700 registered players, ranging in age from 3 to 60+, and more than 50 competitive and social teams. Rangers is the largest community sports club in the Samford region and hundreds of games are played at our superb facility at Samford Parklands each year.

Based on membership, Samford Rangers is the 14th largest football club in the Greater Brisbane region.

Samford Rangers senior men's team plays in the FQPL2 league, the 4th highest tier of Australian football.

Our Mission

Samford Rangers Football Club’s mission is to be a well-run, community-focused football club that caters to every age, gender and skill level, and is an integral part of the Samford and surrounds community. We want to be the best possible football club we can be, both on and off the field and all those that represent the club do so with respect.

The committee and volunteers will always work hard to develop our players, coaches and managers at all levels, and operate in the best interest of the membership at all times.

We believe success should not just be measured by the level that the teams play at, nor by the trophies that are won, but by the positive impact we have on our members and community.
